Membership

These are the proposed rates and terms. We’re not enrolling members or taking payments yet.

Monthly rates

• Founding members: $400/month. The first 50 members keep that rate for five years.
• Standard membership: $500/month. Founding members move to the standard rate after year five. That rate may change over time.

What’s included

• 24/7 access
• Use of shop tools after orientation and required training
• Free orientation and tool certifications
• 30% off classes and workshops
• Member project space
• Wi-Fi, coffee, dust masks, and basic consumables

Commitment and pauses

Membership would start with a 12-month commitment. You could pause for one month per year with 10 days’ notice. You wouldn’t pay or have shop access during the pause, and it wouldn’t extend your commitment.

If you needed to stop during the first year, you could pause through the end of that commitment. After the first year, you could leave with 30 days’ notice.

Founding members

Along with the five-year rate, founding members would get first choice of available storage lockers and orientation slots, a welcome kit, and a say in future tool purchases.

Storage and business use

We’re planning storage lockers at $75/month. Project parking would depend on the space your work takes up. The draft monthly prices are $25 for 2×2 ft, $50 for 3×3 ft, $100 for 4×4 ft, and $200 for 6×6 ft. These aren’t final.
