The Shop

This is the planned equipment list. We’ll finalize it once we have a space and know what members need.

Wood shop

• SawStop industrial cabinet saw (3 HP)
• 15" planer
• 8" jointer
• 14" bandsaw
• CNC router (4×8 bed)
• Drill press, miter saw, palm and plunge routers
• Random orbital sanders, oscillating spindle sander
• Dust collection on every machine
• Full hand tool wall: chisels, planes, marking tools, clamps

Metal shop

• MIG welder
• TIG welder, AC/DC with foot pedal
• Plasma cutter
• Knee mill
• Bench lathe
• Bench grinder, belt grinder
• Cutoff saw, horizontal bandsaw
• Welding tables and fume extraction

Digital fabrication

• 80 W CO2 laser cutter (24"×36" bed)
• 4× 3D printers. 3 FDM, 1 resin
• Vinyl cutter
• Electronics bench: soldering, hot air station, oscilloscope, bench supply
• Sublimation printer
• Sewing machines and heat press

• Forge and anvil setup

We plan to have members vote on future tool purchases once the shop is running.

Tool access

• Required orientation before any tool access
• Hands-on certification on the higher-risk tools (saws, welders, mill, lathe). free, in small groups
• Ongoing safety classes. also free
• Members-only. No day passes, no walk-ins, no guest tool use.
